Getting a slice of The Life of Pi

On the cusp of ‘Life of Pi’ movie’s release, I thought I’d look back at the book, and the man booker prize is always a good judge of character… 4/5

Quick Overview

A boy reaches an incredibly traumatic experience on a lifeboat with an exotic, predatory animal.

Quick Analysis

Good read, with a slow build up and the fact that we find out that it’s all true is all the more important. The first half discusses the boy’s beliefs and philosophies, but that is nothing to put you off a moving story.
