About me

I am a writer, that’s why we’re all here isn’t it? To create and give some representation of our thoughts to the face of the anonymous internet! To give you a snippet of information about me, I am a literature student who makes videos, writes stories and has the life aim of being some sort of Renaissance Man.

To tell you about my blog, I am mainly going to publish my poems and short stories, but I want to review some of the great books that are floating about in cyberspace (and reality too)… I hope you like my stuff, if you do and you want more, feel free to follow and I’ll make sure you won’t regret it!

  1. thanks for looking at our Voyage. The brief time we spend on the planet demands a bit of a Renaissance perspective. I love fixing the things around me, learning about new things, creating objecst that were only in mind and don’t mind that I make none of them perfect. Plumbing, carpentry, cabinet making, electrical repair, car restoration, landscaping, building wheels for bicycles all pique my interest at times. I am as much anti-car as gear-head. The 90% perfection, but completion and use-ability takes way less time than the silly over obsessing to “make a piece of furniture” out of everything. Check out our early blog posts to see the Tramper project or Good Old RV’s for my solar post which I knew nothing about prior to jumping right in. As for becoming a man, I am saddened sometimes when my childhood heroes fall/divorce or get on the disability train. Who do I want to be when I grow up? These blogs connect me to things I hadn’t even imagined; write on!

  2. I look forward to reading more…I’m pretty eclectic in my writing choices, too. Sometimes I blog like a diary, sometimes it’s about something that just hits me funny…sometimes it’s music…and others, like you…it’s poetry.

Thanks for stopping by my blog, as well!

  3. I was going to “Like” this page, but no matter how grown up I like to think I am, I have a 12 year-old living in my heart and she just couldn’t make it say “70 bloggers like this”.

    • Hi Paulie,

I used the ‘reader’ part of wordpress, and i think the tag was ‘films’ that I was looking at. Very impressive blog you got going there, I always like to hear of other people’s adventures at whatever stage they are at!

      Thanks for visiting!

  8. Thanks for choosing to follow along with Wine and Cheese (Doodles). It looks like you’re just getting up and running with your blog–keep it going–I love the idea of a renaissance man/woman/child–it stops one from getting too boxed into any one category. Looking forward to exploring more. Thanks again.
